Hao WEN is a cinema studies researcher and film programmer, with experience translating English and Japanese pieces into Chinese.

Born in Jiaxing (People's Republic of China), 1994. Hao spent most of his juvenile years in the city of Hang Zhou before moving to the United States for college education.
After graduating from The University of California, Davis in 2016, he entered the Japan-in-Asia Cultural Studies Graduate Program of Nagoya University in Japan, and received his master's degree in 2020. In April 2024, Hao received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Warwick-Nagoya University Co-Tutelle PhD Programme in Global Screen Studies .
